This book takes us through this life changing year for Madison, Ginge and Cardigan Darren. However all is not plain sailing in the pursuit of happiness and Madison finds herself in a predicament. Can she combine business and pleasure and have it all? Will Cardigan Darren ever forgive her for finding Love and how will he cope when his life changes forever. Can Ginge carry on following her boyfriend around the world and what is the secret that he is keeping from her?
There are many other characters that influence their lives along the way, and this proves to be the year to change all of their lives forever. However are they ready for the change that is inevitable?

Just discovered this little gem. The Diary of Madison Brown is laugh out loud funny. The author brings the characters of Maddie and her friends to life. Although an American, I picked up the idioms and nuances of the author's British English quickly and thoroughly enjoyed Maddie's adventures. Definitely plan on reading more of this author's works.

If you look at this book as a cute modern fairy tale, I think you will enjoy it a lot. Maddy is likeable, and surprisingly smart. (She reminds me of the class valadictorian of my high scool class. A lot of us thought that she was a total air head -- though she was well loved. But most of us were quite surprised when her name was announced at graduation.) Maddy lives the dream. Her flatmate/bff is the love of a wildly popular, madly rich popstar. Then Maddy meets a gorgeous guy (she nicknames him MMMM) and more luck, he too is filthy rich. Their relatiiship blossoms rapidly. In fsct, the description given of Maddy's feeling at the infancy of the relatioship is excellent. The one thing that was distracting was the random placement of commas throughout the book.By the way, I would have given 3 1/2 stars, but the half star woukd not light up.
This book is a good light airplane or quiet evening on your own type of book.

This could have been a really good story. I don't know if it's just the format but there are so many grammatical errors I can't even concentrate on the story.
I've been reading a lot of mysteries lately and this story was a good break away from that. A year of the life of a fascinating woman, as she recounts the interesting event she has with her remarkable friends.
Enjoyed the book. Quite refreshing to read a story without graphic sex, abuse, or pain and suffering. The main character was delightful. You never knew what would happen next. Most women can identify with her trials and tribulations in life. Well written in an easy to read format.
Enjoyed the sweet characters and their story. It moved along quickly and I wanted to be part of their group by the end. The diversity of personalities who blended together in such a fun way kept my interest throughout. Good job!
this book was si much fun i love Maddie and all her friends and all her adventurers it was hard to read it in public because of laughing out loud i hope this is just the beginijng and we meet up with this great group really soon

Looking for something else and was left feeling a little unsettled, but otherwise really enjoyed it!
Madison was a little lost in her life, loved her job but lacking. Her room mate was beautiful with an interesting job. When she talked to a man on one of her flights her future changed without her knowing it. The characters in this story seemed real & I looked forward to following their story. Really enjoyed it.
