I didn't fully know what I was getting into, buying this book. I'm not familiar with this author so I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first, but after finishing the first chapter I was more than happy that I bought this book but very sad the next day because I was very sleepy-I didn't put the book down, read it from cover to cover! Be warned once you start reading this book, it will be Very hard to put down.
I am a new fan of Katy Lee, this book, Warning Signs is exquisite. I highly recommend this book. When I was younger I met a deaf young girl and didn't know how to communicate to her and didn't know how different her life was from mine. This book helped me understand that just by learning a few signs and conversational tid bits will brighten a persons day. I really appreciate all the research and time Katy Lee spent in writing this book, it really shows through. Also the heart and sensitivity throughout this book is very beautiful.

Very good book and some insight into how the deaf maybe feeling around those who can talk. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
The hearing people of this world all need to read this book to get an insight into the lives of those who cannot hear. This is an inspiring story.
This is a sappy, sickly sweet "romance." If you have the taste of a Disney Princess in the love department, this is the book for you. The mystery part isn't bad.
This is my second book by this author. Her first book 'Real Virtue' is a must read. This book was also a very good read. While I do prefer full length books, this was still very good. In a short book the author gives good depth to her characters and the mystery is also very good. Reading what a hearing impaired person faces on a daily basis was enlightening.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the fact that even though she went through abuse as a child because she was deaf she didn't let that stop herd rom living and succeeding . Her faith in God was strong. The reminder that God is with us always no matter what we are going through, we can always count on Him.
This was a beautiful story of two people who thought they had failed at life and needed acceptance and forgiveness. It was nice having a heroine who was deaf because there is rarely anyone in these suspense books with a disability. Lots of excitement and danger. This has been a very good series so far.
Lee’s main character, Miriam, is first and foremost a formidable heroine. A deaf Principal in a hearing school, Miriam has her work cut out for her. But when it seems that the town has it in for her, she doubts the wisdom of returning to the little town of Stepping Stones where she visited her grandmother as a child. The town is hiding a secret and Miriam may be the key to unlocking it. Enter Owen, a handsome DEA agent sent to infiltrate a drug smuggling operation on the island, and Miriam is forced not only to prove her innocence, but to protect her heart as well. This fast paced romantic suspense had heartwarming moments, action-packed adventure, and a mystery that kept me guessing right through to the end. Great job, Ms. Lee!
